Dooars Tourism grew out of a simple idea: that the best travel stories are told by the people who live inside them. We began in Dhupguri in 2010, running short jeep safaris for family and friends. Fifteen years and thousands of guests later, we've stayed exactly what we started as — a small, local team, obsessed with getting one region right.

We work directly with forest guides, tea planters, boat operators, homestay owners and boutique lodge partners. That means fair wages upstream, curated experiences downstream, and a network that quietly makes the impossible feel effortless.
